"Heart on Fire" by Spiros Soukis is a blues-rock anthem of desire, loss and hope, driven by electrifying guitars and dynamic drums. Inspired by the fire of ’70s rock, Soukis sings with a voice that’s part crooner, part rocker, carrying the emotion straight through every line. Channeling the spirit of Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, the fiery solos, heavy riffs and a pulsing rhythm section echo the heat of a love that still burns.

ROCKIN’ BLUES WITH GREEK SOUL

"Soukis's high energy and versatility with the strings makes him a dangerous man."

                                                                                                          -- Blues Revue

Spiros Soukis is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter whose roots run from Athens to New York. Growing up with the sound of British blues and the great American players, he shaped a style that mixes blues, rock, and the spirit of the ’60s and ’70s with his own Mediterranean edge. His music nods to influences like Clapton, Santana, Gilmour, Page, and Trower, but always carries his personal tone and touch.

After years performing and recording across Europe, Soukis settled in New York, where he became a familiar face on the blues circuit, playing at clubs like B.B. King’s, Café Wha?, and The Groove. His albums and singles, from "Fota Tou Iliggou" to "Sweet Thing" and most recently "Heart on Fire" (2025), show the breadth of his songwriting, moving easily between soulful ballads, raw blues-rock, and funk-driven jams.

On stage, whether with his trio or alone with an acoustic guitar, Soukis brings a direct, heartfelt energy. Off stage, he shares his craft with students, running master jam sessions that keep the music alive and evolving. His current show "How the Europeans Got the Blues" reflects a lifetime of listening, learning, and reinterpreting the genre he loves.

For Soukis, music is meant to connect deeply: to make you think, to make you feel, to bring joy or even tears. It is music that feeds the soul and lingers long after the last note.
